  • At Amazonia Summer Camp, our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment for every child. We guide behavior using kindness, respect, and positive support.

Campers are expected to follow basic instructions, treat others with kindness, and participate safely in all activities. We welcome children in the spectrum including those with sensory or learning differences. However, our program is a group setting and we do not offer one-on-one care. If a child requires continuous individual support, families must provide their own trained personal aide to stay with them during all day.

If a child shows repeated unsafe behavior or physical aggression, parents or guardians will be contacted. In some cases, this may lead to temporary suspension or removal from the program. Please note that no refunds can be issued for days missed due to suspension or dismissal.

We kindly ask families to share any important behavioral, emotional, or developmental information with us during registration. Open communication helps us create the best possible experience for your child.

By enrolling your child at Amazonia Summer Camp, families agree to support this policy and work together with our team to maintain a safe and caring camp environment for all.

Campers need to bring their own lunch and will not be allowed to share food with friends. We want to avoid food allergies.

We work with Marina Chaparro (Latin Mom) Kids Dietitian with Nutrichicos. Here you can have some balance and snacks ideas for our campers. You can follow her for more ideas @nutrichicos in IG.

“ Healthy eating has many faces, it depends on culture, budget, personal preferences & eating patterns”

Please do not bring your child to camp if they are feeling unwell, have fever or are sick. Children must be symptom free for at least 24 hours without any medication before they return to camp. Some of the medical reason for your child remain at home are:

  • Fever
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Pink eye or conjunctivitis
  • Heavy nasal discharge

Campers will have the opportunity to enjoy camp during rainy days. We have the necessary accommodations to adjust our schedule with special indoor activities, games, and crafts in the Pavilion Lodge. Campers are going to love these days too.

We are a bilingual summer camp and most of our staff are bilingual. We want to teach our campers the possibility to learn Spanish while they enjoy the different activities during the day. We are going to implement some words and phrases in songs, games, and sports.
